Highlands Family Dentistry is a Dallas-based family practice treating patients of all ages. Our team takes the time to truly understand each person's needs, goals, and lifestyle, then designs the care to match.
Highlands Family Dentistry was established in 2019 with a simple commitment: deliver the highest quality dental care using advanced equipment, in a setting that feels comfortable and unhurried. We treat patients of all ages, from first cleanings to full smile makeovers.
That commitment shows up in the small decisions. Exam rooms with two screens, so you can follow along with your X-rays and pictures, and a second screen on the ceiling for the procedure itself. Treatment plans walked through in plain language. Time taken at every step to listen before recommending.

Dr. Luna's practice combines modern dental technology with a warm, friendly atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. He spends time getting to know each patient so he can provide personal care, conducting a thorough examination of your teeth and surrounding tissue and listening to your concerns before designing a custom general, cosmetic, or restorative treatment plan.
He believes that good, routine preventative care is the most important step to a healthy smile — and that an atmosphere of trust and compassion, led by strong ethical values, is what makes that care actually land.
Dr. Luna and his wife have two sons and reside in Lake Highlands. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fishing in the mountains, and hanging out with friends and family. He is also on the track toward becoming a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Graduated top of her class at UT School of Dentistry, Houston. Combines a love for science and art with a soft spot for first-time patients.
Dr. Sauerwein is passionate about what she does as a dentist, from helping patients stay healthy to helping them feel more confident in their smile. She finds fulfillment in educating patients and providing the best possible experience for every individual — and loves seeing the littlest ones as much as anyone in the chair.
She prides herself on keeping up with the newest advances and latest technology in dentistry, and is an active member of the Spear Study Club and Dallas Study Club.
Originally from Nederland, Texas. Loves the outdoors, college football, and playing with her pup Stetson. An active member of the Junior League of Dallas, where she enjoys giving back to the community.

Our office is at 9850 Walnut Hill Lane in Lake Highlands. We see patients from across Dallas, Kaufman, Tarrant, Rockwall, and Collin counties — and from Irving, Mesquite, Garland, Arlington, Fort Worth, Lewisville, Plano, Kaufman, and Richardson.
